Elon Musk has always been vocal on his Twitter account about anything and everything. However, following the termination of the deal, the billionaire was silent regarding the whole thing.

He backed out from the $44 billion deal citing ‘material breach’ in the agreement and ‘false and misleading' statements through negotiations. However, this decision did not go down well with Twitter Inc.

The social media firm fired back at Musk and claimed that he ‘knowingly’ breached the agreement for buying Twitter. In a report by Reuters, Twitter sent a letter to Musk stating that they did not breach their obligations under the merger agreement.

But Musk took to Twitter on Friday and implied that they did, which is why he is ending the deal. However, after this response from Twitter Inc, Musk used his Twitter account to give a reply to the company, on Monday.
The Tesla owner, shared a meme on his Twitter account, to express what he feels about this spat. In the meme, Musk is seen mocking the legal threat that Twitter has made to sue him.

Sources told Reuters that Twitter is planning to file a lawsuit in Delaware, this week. However, Elon Musk remains unbothered by the whole episode as indicated by the meme he shared on his account.

Musk stands by his point that he planned to back out from the deal as Twitter did not give him the actual data that he asked for regarding the bots and fake accounts. The decision was reported in a US SEC filing, as he accused the microblogging site of breaching their agreement’s numerous provisions. Nonetheless, Twitter is also standing their ground saying it’ll sue Musk to enforce the legal agreement.
