Declaring “problem solved”, Twitter CEO Elon Musk not only shared the image of the Twitter billboard with ‘W’ almost invisible but also revealed the dispute with the landlord of the social media’s San Francisco Headquarters. According to Musk, the landlord of Twitter's San Francisco headquarters has stated that it is mandatory to maintain the company's name as "Twitter" and the letter "W" cannot be removed. Therefore, Musk said he and his team have resolved the issue by painting the background colour of the sign.

In replies to the same tweet, Musk also said, “They tried to muffle our titter”.

Elon Musk's tweet went viral, accumulating over 21 million views and a lot of Twitter users praised his clever resolution to the issue. As a result, there has been a discussion on the lawfulness of such actions and the degree of control that landlords possess over the signage of their tenants.

Elon Musk has previously suggested altering Twitter's name. In April of the previous year, he conducted a Twitter poll, asking users whether they think the letter "W" should be removed, with only two options given for the answer - "Yes" and "Of course".

It is to mention that the Doge logo remained in place for three days and generated a lot of excitement as people speculated whether Musk would keep it permanently.
