Film Producer Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor have stepped down from their positions as the head of ALTBalaji OTT platform. The digital streaming company will now be managed by Vivek Koka who will serve as the Chief Business Officer.

Making the news public, Ekta Kapoor shared a snippet of the press release that revealed information about the recent management changes in ALTBalaji. According to a press statement Vivek Koka will be the new Chief Business Officer of ALTBalaji after Ekta and her mother step down as the company’s heads.

The official statement stated that it is a strategic decision taken by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor to focus on other projects. Further, it affirmed that the procedure of stepping down was initiated in 2022 and now ALTBalaji will be managed by a new team.
