Padmini Ekadashi Vrat Katha
According to the Padma Purana, the Padmini Ekadashi vrat katha is linked to King Kritavirya and Queen Padmini, who longed for a child for many years. Despite performing severe penance and prayers, they remained childless. Following the guidance of sages, Queen Padmini observed the sacred Padmini Ekadashi vrat with complete devotion to Lord Vishnu.
Moved by her faith and dedication, Lord Vishnu appeared before the queen and blessed her with a boon. Soon after, she gave birth to Kritavirya Arjuna, who later became a renowned and powerful king. The Padmini Ekadashi vrat katha highlights the spiritual significance of observing this fast with sincerity, devotion, and a pure heart, as it is believed to fulfill wishes and bring divine blessings.
