In an unusual incident at a government school in Kerala’s Kasaragod district, an eagle snatched a hall ticket from a candidate just minutes before the start of the Public Service Commission (PSC) exam. The event took place around 7.30 am at the Kasaragod Government Upper Primary School, where nearly 300 government officials had gathered to take the test.

Eagle flies off with hall ticket

The candidate was waiting for the exam to begin when the eagle suddenly swooped down and took the hall ticket. It then flew up and perched on the top floor window ledge, holding the document in its beak. Despite a crowd gathering below and visible commotion, the eagle stayed still for several minutes before dropping the paper.

Scene caught on video goes viral

The entire incident was caught on video and soon circulated widely on social media. Many users across Kerala shared the video with reactions of disbelief and humour.

Candidate allowed to take the exam

Even after the delay caused by the eagle, officials allowed the candidate to sit for the exam. The candidate faced no further trouble during the test.
