Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said a pilot project will be run from Dwarka since it has many metro stations and bus stops. He further added that by next year, 1500 e-scooters will be introduced across 250 locations. The scooters will be self-driven, and its users can rent them using an integrated bus and metro card.
A high-level meeting on transport reforms was chaired by CM Arvind Kejriwal, wherein this decision was taken. Kejriwal, in a press conference, said although metro and bus connectivity in Delhi is well-developed, the city is lacking in last-mile connectivity.
