DU Admissions 2022: Vacant seats are announced for Round 2

DU has announced the number of seats available for the second round. Students who are done with the admission process can also opt for an upgrade for the subject of their preference.

Delhi University has released a list of available courses and vacant seats for the second round of undergraduate admissions. Students trying for admission can download the list from the official website.

Under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) the first round of admissions is done. The second merit list will be declared on October 30. It will be based on the availability of the seats.

The University officials said that the second round of CSAS will be dependent on the availability of the seats.


Students who have already secured admissions in the first round are eligible for upgrades. They can ask for their higher preference from October 26 to October 27, 2022.

According to CSAS – 2022 policy, candidates who will opt for upgradation will be automatically upgraded based on the allotment.

If a candidate has asked for a new preference then the already allotted seat will be automatically cancelled.

The notice issued by the University officials mentions that the candidates who have requested an upgrade will have to accept the upgraded seat. They also have to complete the admission process for the upgraded seat within a specific time frame.
