Drishyam 2 box office collection: Ajay Devgn's movie hauls Rs 64.14 crore in three days

Ajay Devgn-starrer "Drishyam 2" continues to do well at the box office. The film has earned a whopping Rs 64.14 crore as of day three, including Sunday's collection of Rs 27.17 crore.

With this, Drishyam 2 has become the year's second-largest Bollywood opening, topping Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

The movie is a sequel to Devgn's 2015 crime thriller "Drishyam", which was the Hindi remake of the Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam movie of the same name. The sequel to the Malayalam film released in February 2021.


The first part of the movie, Drishyam, came out in 2015 and was directed by the late Nishikant Kamat, who died in August 2020.

Drishyam 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The film is presented by Viacom18 Studios, T-Series and Panorama Studios.

Apart from Ajay Devgn, the film has Tabu and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles. Apart from that, it has Shriya Saran, Kamlesh Sawant, Ishita Dutta, Saurabh Shukla, and Rajat Kapoor in supporting roles.


The film is expected to give stiff competition to Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's Bhediya, which is scheduled to release on Friday, November 25.
