Dr Samit Sen: First KBC contestant from Andaman and Nicobar Islands

India's most popular quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan has been going strong for over two decades. It has brought contestants on the television screen from all over the country.

However, in the twenty-two years, it has run, KBC had never hosted a participant from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Dr Samit Sen is the first from the islands on the hot seat.

Sony TV released a promo video on all its social media platforms where Amitabh Bachchan tells all its fans and viewers how Dr Samit Sen is the first ever participant from India's eastern islands in the two decades this show has run.


The video caption said that Dr Sen is not only the beauty of Andaman and Nicobar but is also its inspiration and pride.

Dr Samit Sen's reaction to being on Kaun Banega Crorepati-

The happy contestant said that this was the proudest moment of his life because every house and family in Andaman and Nicobar Islands watched Kaun Banega Crorepati without fail. He says he feels otherworldly as he sits in front of a massive star of Bollywood. Dr Sen also asked if the superstar had ever visited Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and the actor confirmed he had.
