Donald Trump’s Arraignment: Will former US President be subjected to mugshot or put in handcuffs upon arrival in NYC?
Donald Trump became the first former US President to be charged criminally and is now due to appear at a court in New York City on Tuesday, April 4 (local time).

Will Donald Trump be subjected to a mugshot or put in handcuffs?
As per reports, Donald Trump is expected to neither be put in handcuffs nor be subjected to a mugshot upon his arrival at the New York City court, where he is set to be tried for dozens of counts over the hush money payments.
According to Yahoo News, the office of Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney, has determined that it is unnecessary to take a mugshot of the ex-president before his widely publicized trial. The report also states that Trump has been indicted on 34 felony charges.
While NBC and other news sources are reporting that it is still uncertain whether a mugshot will be taken, the district attorney's office has not yet issued a comment in response to requests for clarification.
In accordance with a 2019 law in New York state, officials are authorized to refuse public requests for mugshots, even if they are taken. As a result, the release of such photographs could be postponed until the materials are provided to Trump's legal team by the Manhattan District Attorney's office unless they are made public without authorization.
It is pertinent to note that at 2:15 PM (18:15 GMT), Trump is anticipated to appear before Judge Juan Merchan for arraignment, where he will officially confront the charges against him that have not yet been disclosed.
