Diwali is here, and the festivities have started across the country. So, you can start your celebrations, but remember these do's and don'ts while celebrating.

Deepavali, also known as the festival of lights, is celebrated yearly with great joy. The festivities consist of performing puja, observing certain rituals, and decorating homes with diyas, rangoli, and lights. As well as, people gift each other sweets and dry fruits, wear new traditional attires, and light firecrackers.

It is believed that when Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after defeating Ravana and spending 14 years in exile, the kingdom of Ayodhya lit up with lights and people celebrated the return by performing various festivities.
