One of the directors of the renowned DD show based on the mythological epic, Moti Sagar, believes that the "Adipurush" team could have been more cautious in their approach to the Ramayana. Om Raut's film "Adipurush," which features poor VFX and slangy dialogue, has drawn criticism online. Among other things, writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla has come under fire for Lord Hanuman's dialogues in the "Lanka Dahan" sequence.

According to Moti Sagar, who co-wrote the dialogue for the 1987 television programme "Ramayan" with his father Ramanand Sagar and brother Prem Sagar, "certain dialogues that I am reading on the news and on Twitter, I can say they could have been careful."

The director-producer claimed that the writer "must have thought of making the film visually appealing for the common man, who says such language. Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh, Kriti Sanon plays Janaki, and Prabhas plays Raghav in it. The T-Series-produced multilingual movie was released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil across the country.

The simplistic language used by the characters, particularly Hanuman, played by Devdatta Nage, was noted by many viewers. According to Moti Sagar, the filmmakers tried to appeal to the younger audience by treating the movie like a superhero movie.

"They might have assumed that the younger generation would be more receptive to something that appeals to them more, like Marvel comics and other things. Perhaps they reasoned that by translating the "Ramayana" into their language, more people would understand it.

It was easier to explore the depth of the mythological epic when Ramayan was made into a TV serial, according to Moti Sagar, who claimed that doing so in a "three-hour film" would be challenging.

This is a completely distinct genre. I wouldn't compare this movie to one we made called "Ramayan." I've heard that this movie, the music, and everything else took a lot of work to make. The big names have all put in a lot of effort. "Adipursh" was produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and has a Rs 500 crore budget.
