Veteran Kannada supporting actor Dinesh Mangalore, who was widely recognised for his role in KGF, passed away early on Monday. He died at his residence in Kundapur, Udupi district, at 3.30 am after being treated for a brain stroke. He was 63. Expressing her condolences, Kannada actor Sangeetha Bhat said: "You will be terribly missed , The most jovial, skilled, and warm-hearted person, Someone who always loved bringing a smile to people’s faces. I remember seeing you stand strong even through your low health days during shoots, still delivering your roles so flawlessly.

"You would check on me during my difficult days and never failed to make me smile with your sweetest jokes.
Our long, deep conversations on set about your old art direction days and the wonderful stories you shared are memories I will always treasure. Gone too soon too far," Bhat posted on Instagram.


Dinesh Mangalore Death Reason:

According to family members, Dinesh had suffered a brain hemorrhage last week. He was admitted to Kundapur Hospital in Mangalore, where he received treatment for five days. Though doctors provided medical care, he was shifted home, where his condition worsened. He passed away in the early hours of Monday.

Dinesh started his career in Sandalwood as an art director before turning to acting. Over the years, he built a reputation for his powerful screen presence in both supporting and villainous roles. His role in KGF gave him a wider recognition, but he had also appeared in films like Rikki, Harikathe Alla Girikathe, and Ulidavaru Kandanthe. Industry colleagues often referred to him as “Mangalore Dinesh,” a name that stuck with audiences.

With decades of work in the Kannada film industry, Dinesh became a familiar face in films that demanded strong character portrayals. While he may not have always been in lead roles, his contributions were seen as significant in shaping several successful movies. Dinesh Mangalore: Personal life

Born in Kundapura, Udupi district, Dinesh lived in Bengaluru for many years while pursuing his film career. He is survived by his wife, Bharathi D. Pai, and two sons, Pawan and Sajjan.

The family announced that his body will be kept for public viewing at his residence in Laggere, Bengaluru, from 8 am on Tuesday. Friends, fans, and colleagues from the Kannada film industry are expected to pay their last respects.
