Dimple Kapadia teams-up with Shahid Kapoor & Kriti Sanon for a new Robo rom-com

The Amit Joshi-directed film is a unique love story starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. Earlier, there were reports that the film was delayed for certain reasons, but recent updates claim that it is on track and will likely hit the floors in November. Shahid Kapoor has teamed up with producer Dinesh Vijan for the first time, and he will play a scientist in the film, whereas Kriti Sanon will play a robot. The movie will be shot in Delhi, Mumbai, and parts of Europe.

Recent reports related to the yet-untitled film reveal that actress Dimple Kapadia will also be a part of the rom-com. She has a prominent role in this Maddock Production. The 'Sagar' actress has recently appeared in films like Finding Fanny, Cocktail, and Angrezi Medium under the banner and is set to reunite with the team for this unique Robo rom-com.

The much-anticipated romantic comedy will go into production soon. The shooting will begin in Mumbai tomorrow, October 29, before flying to Europe for a marathon schedule. Some filming will also be done in Delhi. Shahid Kapoor, for the first time, has collaborated with Maddock Production and is excited about the unique project.


Shahid has also been paired for the first time with Kriti, and the yet-untitled rom-com will likely be released in 2023.
