Shot simultaneously with its predecessor, Dhurandhar 2 began principal photography in July 2024 and wrapped in October 2025.

As per reports, filming took place across multiple locations including Punjab, Chandigarh, Maharashtra, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh, along with extensive shoots in Bangkok, Thailand, which doubled for Pakistan-based sequences.

The film’s technical team includes music by Shashwat Sachdev, cinematography by Vikash Nowlakha and editing by Shivkumar V. Panicker. With a reported runtime of 235 minutes, Dhurandhar 2 stands among the longest Indian films ever made.

Dhurandhar 2 OTT Release Platform Revealed

Following its theatrical run, Dhurandhar 2 will stream on JioHotstar, which has secured the digital rights. This marks a shift from the first film, Dhurandhar (2025), which premiered on Netflix after its cinema release.

While an exact OTT release date has not yet been announced, industry trends suggest the film will arrive on streaming platforms after completing its theatrical window.
