Bollywood audiences received an unexpected surprise as ‘Dhurandhar’ released in cinemas across India on December 5. The film, positioned as the opening chapter of a two-part saga, ends with a major reveal—confirming that the story will continue in ‘Dhurandhar 2’.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ Release Date Announced

Viewers who waited through the credits were treated to a post-credit announcement confirming the sequel. ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026, setting the stage for a massive box office showdown with Yash’s ‘Toxic’ and Bollywood’s ‘Dhamaal 4’.

The first installment, released on December 5, has already drawn attention for its unusually long runtime—over 3 hours and 30 minutes—making it one of the lengthiest mainstream Hindi films ever, exceeding the duration of ‘Jodhaa Akbar’.


The short gap of just three months between both releases strongly suggests that the two parts were shot simultaneously, allowing the makers to maintain continuity and momentum.
