Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the sequel to the blockbuster of Dhurandhar spy action film, has surpassed one million advance ticket bookings at PVR INOX, India’s largest multiplex chain, even before its global release on March 19. This impressive milestone reflects strong early buzz and positions the film as a contender for one of the biggest theatrical openings of the year.

The film’s wide-reaching, multi-language release strategy seems to be working in its favour. Dhurandhar: The Revenge will hit theatres simultaneously in five languages—Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

According to Sacnilk, the film’s all-India advance booking for premiere shows has touched ₹42.71 crore in gross collections, which increases to ₹47.91 crore when blocked seats are included. So far, around 8,62,562 tickets have been sold for Hindi screenings alone, indicating strong demand across northern and central regions.

• Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Hindi) – 6.5 lakh tickets
• Jawan – 5.57 lakh tickets
• Pathaan – 5.56 lakh tickets
• KGF: Chapter 2 (Hindi) – 5.15 lakh tickets
• Animal – 4.6 lakh tickets

Dhurandhar 2 is well on track to break existing records and secure the top spot for Day 1 advance bookings in Hindi cinema history. Its strong ticket sales across national multiplex chains suggest it could surpass previous benchmarks and set a new opening-day pre-sales record, reflecting the massive buzz around the sequel.
