On the second day of the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni was observed participating in a dandiya session alongside Akash Ambani, the son of Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Dwayne Bravo. The Gala night on Saturday witnessed enchanting performances by Bollywood stars and singers, including Shah Rukh Khan, adding to the charm of the three-day celebrations.

The event in Jamnagar welcomed numerous esteemed guests on Saturday, who were graciously hosted by the Ambani family. Among them was MS Dhoni, accompanied by his wife Sakshi, who delighted in joining a dandiya session after receiving instructions from Akash Ambani.

Dhoni, a prominent figure in the cricketing world, seemed to relish the festivities, sharing jovial moments with Akash Ambani, who graciously took on the role of a dance instructor. Accompanying Dhoni was his wife, Sakshi, who also joined in the revelry.


The event was not just a gathering of cricketing icons but also saw the presence of Bollywood stars like Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh, with whom Dhoni engaged in friendly conversations. Additionally, Dhoni was seen mingling with Telugu movie star Ram Charan, adding a touch of glamour to the occasion.


While enjoying the festivities, Dhoni's focus remains on the upcoming IPL 2024 season, where he aims to lead the Chennai Super Kings to their sixth title. Despite speculation about his future in the sport, Dhoni's commitment to the team and franchise remains unwavering.

CSK coach Stephen Fleming commented on Dhoni's dedication, stating, "We've had succession plans for MS for about 10 years. It is going to be a talking point, but he is as engaged and as enthusiastic as I have seen him for a while. While that passion is there for the team and franchise, we'll roll on."

Despite battling a knee issue last season, Dhoni underwent surgery to ensure he is fit for the upcoming challenges.
