Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated stars known for iconic films like Sholay, Chupke Chupke, and Phool Aur Patthar, is stable and on the road to recovery, his daughter Esha Deol has confirmed.

Bollywood veteran Dharmendra Deol's daughter Esha Deol on Instagram said, "The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable a recovering. we request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papas speedy recovery."

Several stars, including his wife Hema Malini and sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, had visited him at the hospital. Reports suggesting that he was on ventilator support had circulated online but were later dismissed by those close to the family.
