Fasting Rules for Devshayani Ekadashi 2024

Do not pluck Tulsi leaves.
Avoid bathing with soap or body wash.
Refrain from speaking ill of others.
Maintain celibacy during the fast.
Avoid tamasik food items such as eggs, onions, garlic, and meat.
Break the fast on Dwadashi Tithi during Parana Time.

How to Perform Puja on Devshayani Ekadashi 2024

Wake up early and take a holy bath.
Place idols of Lord Vishnu, Lord Krishna, and Laddoo Gopal Ji on a wooden plank after a sacred bath.
Light a diya with desi ghee and offer yellow flowers, a garland, dry fruits, five seasonal fruits, Tulsi leaves, and Panchamrit.
Recite Vishnu Sahasranama with devotion.
Chant Krishna Maha Mantra.
Spend the day chanting "Om Namo Bhagvate Vasudevaye."
If unable to fast strictly, eat sattvik food in the evening after sunset.
Engage in donations and charity, as it is considered meritorious on this day.
