Demon Slayer Infinity Castle OTT release date is yet to be confirmed by its makers
Fans eagerly waiting for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle may have to wait a little longer, as the reported July 29 OTT release date has not been officially confirmed.

According to IGN, Prime Video Canada has clarified that the first film in the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle trilogy will arrive on the streaming platform at a later date. The statement effectively dismisses ongoing speculation that the movie would begin streaming on July 29, with no official digital release date announced so far.

The clarification comes after reports suggested that the film's Blu-ray and DVD release date had been finalized, leading many fans to believe that an OTT release could follow shortly afterward.

Meanwhile, anime enthusiasts are also looking ahead to July 3, when the creators are expected to share fresh details about the second installment of the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle trilogy.

All about Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle is a dark fantasy action anime based on the popular Infinity Castle arc from Koyoharu Gotouge's best-selling manga series. Serving as the first chapter of the franchise's final trilogy following To the Hashira Training (2024), the film takes the story into its most intense phase yet.

The movie follows the Demon Slayer Corps after they are drawn into the mysterious Infinity Castle by the powerful demon Muzan Kibutsuji. Trapped within the ever-shifting fortress, Tanjiro and the Hashira must battle deadly Upper Rank demons while searching for their ultimate enemy.

Originally released in theatres in July 2025, the film completed its theatrical run on April 9, 2026. While it enjoyed significant commercial success, it fell short of surpassing Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, which remains the highest-grossing anime film of all time.

Infinity Castle ended its run with an impressive $271.1 million (¥40.21 billion) at the Japanese box office and attracted more than 27.4 million admissions, cementing its place among the country's most successful anime releases.

The story centers on Tanjiro Kamado, a young swordsman who joins the Demon Slayer Corps after demons slaughter his family. His mission becomes even more personal when his sister, Nezuko Kamado, survives the attack but is transformed into a demon.

As the opening chapter of the franchise's final battle, Infinity Castle sets the stage for the climactic showdown between the Demon Slayer Corps and Muzan. The film combines large-scale action sequences, emotional storytelling, and stunning animation as Tanjiro, Nezuko, and the Hashira venture deep into the dangerous Infinity Castle.
