Delhi weather update: Will it rain in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram today? Here's what IMD has predicted for the weekend

Delhi-NCR witnessed heavy rainfall and overcast skies on Friday, bringing much-needed relief from rising temperatures. The IMD has issued a green alert for the city on Saturday, March 21, and warned of partly cloudy skies. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 26-28 degrees Celsius and 13-15 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Sunday weather in Delhi

On 22 March 2026, Sunday, Delhi is expected to have a partly cloudy sky that will gradually become generally cloudy towards the evening. Day temperatures may range between 29–31°C, while night temperatures may stay around 15–17°C, with light winds from the north and northeast.


On 23 March 2026, Monday, Delhi will likely see generally cloudy conditions throughout the day. There is a possibility of very light rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. Temperatures may remain between 30–32°C during the day and 16–18°C at night, with variable winds.

On 24 March 2026, the sky over Delhi is expected to remain partly cloudy with no significant rainfall activity. Day temperatures may range from 30–32°C, and night temperatures from 16–18°C, with light northwesterly winds.

On 25 March 2026, Delhi will continue to experience partly cloudy skies. Temperatures are likely to rise slightly, with daytime highs of 31–33°C and nighttime lows of 16–18°C, accompanied by moderate winds. On 26 March 2026, the weather in Delhi is expected to stay partly cloudy with stable conditions and no major rain activity. Day temperatures may be around 31–33°C, while night temperatures could be 17–19°C, with light northwesterly winds prevailing.

The weather department attributed the current conditions to large-scale thunderstorm activity across several parts of the country and the successive approach of western disturbances. "Day temperatures are likely to remain normal to below normal over the next week. No significant heatwave conditions are expected," it said.

Noida, Gurugram weather

On Saturday, March 21, Noida is likely to witness partly cloudy skies with the minimum and maximum temperatures hovering around 16 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively. From March 23 onwards, Noida is likely to see mainly clear skies. In Gurugram too, you can expect partly cloudy skies today with the minimum and maximum temperatures hovering around 15 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.
