Despite the monsoon officially arriving in Delhi weeks ago, the city continues to wait for consistent heavy rainfall. The weather remains erratic, with frequent changes disrupting the daily routines of residents. Overcast skies often fail to bring rain, leading instead to increased humidity levels.

Delhi Weather Forecast: Cloudy Skies with Intermittent Rain Expected

As per the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) forecast issued on the evening of July 16, Delhi is likely to witness light to moderate rainfall over the next few days, with predominantly cloudy skies. Thunderstorms and lightning are also anticipated during this period.

On July 17 and 18, the pattern is expected to continue with light rain and overcast conditions. Moving into July 19 and 20, only very light rainfall is predicted, accompanied by persistent cloud cover. By the weekend, July 21 and 22, moderate to light showers with thunderstorms and lightning are likely to return under generally cloudy skies.
