Delhi water supply to be affected for 2 days
Several areas of the national capital will experience a water supply interruption for two days starting Wednesday, February 25. The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has announced a temporary shutdown due to infrastructure work at the Dwarka Water Treatment Plant.

In a public notice shared on social media, the water utility stated that the disruption is linked to interconnection work involving a newly installed 1,500 mm diameter twin raw water pipeline in the Bhagya Vihar area. The new pipeline is being connected to the existing twin raw water main at the Dwarka Water Treatment Plant, which requires a temporary halt in supply.

Duration of Water Cut

According to the notice, water services will be affected for 48 hours, from 11 am on February 25 until 11 am on February 27.

Residents in the impacted localities have been advised to store sufficient water in advance to avoid inconvenience.

Areas Likely to Be Affected

The supply disruption is expected to impact multiple residential colonies and villages across southwest Delhi and nearby regions.
