The Delhi Traffic Police is organising the National Lok Adalat 2023 once more to settle challans filed against automobiles. If you live in Delhi and have a challan issued against your car registration number, you can request a reduction in the penalty amount or even a remission of the challan from the District Magistrate.

Whether it is for pollution, insurance, red light jumping, seat belt violations, overspeeding, or any other comparable infringement, violators can appear in court and request that the penalty amount be lowered or the whole challan be waived.

Violators need to obtain an e-challan and go to the National Lok Adalat for the settlement. The National Lok Adalat is scheduled on February 11, 2023. People have to first make a reservation in order to visit adalat.



Here's how to make an online reservation for the National Lok Adalat 2023:

1- Make a booking on the Delhi Traffic Police Lok Adalat website using your challan number.

2- Click the link to obtain an invoice printout.

3- The location of the court will be given on the downloaded notice sheet.

4- Appear in the relevant court on the stipulated date and hour.

5- Present the challan before the Magistrate and request a penalty reduction or remission.

The Delhi Traffic Police has reported that over 1.79 crore e-challans are outstanding in the national capital, according to a report. These challans cover both camera offences and violations observed by authorities on the road.

The Delhi Police also announced that the National Lok Adalat 2023 will be open on February 11, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Violators who have had challans filed against them before October 31, 2022, shall be summoned.
