Delhi Traffic Police has urged commuters to follow traffic advisories, obey on-ground officers, and use alternative routes wherever possible to ensure a smooth travel experience.
The grand event, organised by the Ministry of Culture, will be held at the Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex, where around 11,000 guests, 1,000 cars, and 300 buses are expected to attend.
According to a traffic advisory issued by the Delhi Traffic Police, vehicle movement will be regulated or diverted between 5 AM and 2 PM across major routes in and around ITO and Rajghat to facilitate smooth traffic flow and ensure security arrangements.

- Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg (BSZ Marg)
- Jawaharlal Nehru Marg (JLN Marg)
- Mahatma Gandhi Marg (MGM)
- Indraprastha Marg
- Vikas Marg
- Secretariat Road
- Velodrome Road
- Shanti Van Crossing – Rajghat – Bhairon Marg
- Geeta Colony Flyover – I.P. Flyover – Salimgarh Bypass
- W Point – Delhi Gate
- Rajghat – Kishan Ghat / Power House Road
- ITO – Yamuna Bridge (via I.P. Marg & Vikas Marg)
Motorists are advised to avoid these roads during the restricted hours and plan alternate routes to prevent delays.
- Entry to Indira Gandhi Stadium
- East Side (Velodrome / Secretariat Road): Gates 1, 2, 3, 7, and 8
- West Side (MGM Road / Ring Road): Gates 19, 21, 22, and 23
Parking will be strictly prohibited on the following roads:
Velodrome Road, Secretariat Road, Indraprastha Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Vikas Marg, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, Mahatma Gandhi Marg/Ring Road, Salimgarh Bypass, and Power House Road.
Vehicles parked in restricted zones will be towed away and penalised as per law.
