Why Has Delhi Introduced The Liquor Booking App?
Officials said the initiative aims to reduce queues outside liquor shops, ease congestion at payment counters and improve transparency in pricing and billing.Steps to book the liquor online through app
Under the system, customers can select a participating outlet through the app, check the availability of their preferred brand, choose the bottle size and quantity, and complete the payment online.Once the booking is confirmed, the app generates a QR code. Customers must present this code at their selected outlet, where staff members scan it before handing over the order.
