Delhi Police Constable Exam 2025: SSC activates self-slot selection at ssc.gov.in

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened the self-slot selection window for candidates appearing for the Delhi Police Constable Exam 2025. Candidates can now choose their preferred exam city and date on ssc.gov.in. The facility applies to posts including Constable (Driver)-Male, Constable (Executive) Male and Female, Head Constable (Ministerial), and Head Constable (AWO/TPO).

The SSC has said candidates must select their slots within the specified timelines, adding that those who fail to do so “will not have their admission certificate generated.” It has further clarified that slot selections cannot be changed once submitted.

Examination schedule and self-slot timelines

The SSC is allowing candidates to plan their examination date in advance through the self-slot selection facility. The examination dates and corresponding slot selection windows are:

How to select your self-slot on ssc.gov.in

Step 1: Visit ssc.gov.in/login.
Step 2: Log in using registration ID and password.
Step 3: Go to the “Self-slot selection” section for Delhi Police examinations.
Step 4: Choose the preferred exam city and date from the available options.
Step 5: Confirm and submit the selection. No changes are allowed afterward.

Key points to remember

The SSC will issue admission certificates a few days before the exam, and city live verification will not be required. Candidates who do not choose a slot within the deadline will not receive an admission certificate. The Commission has said its decisions regarding slot allocation are final.
