Delhi Police bust fake OPPO, OnePlus and Realme factory; two arrested in major crackdown, watch video

The Delhi Police Crime Branch has arrested two people and sealed two godowns in Karol Bagh and a factory in Moti Nagar after recovering a large quantity of counterfeit OPPO, OnePlus and Realme products during a search and seizure operation in the national capital, reports ANI.

During the operation, police sealed two godowns in Regharpura, Karol Bagh, where counterfeit products were allegedly being packaged and labelled under the names of the reputed mobile brands. A factory located in Moti Nagar, Delhi, which was being used to manufacture packaging boxes for the fake products, was also sealed.

Officials said eight machines used in the illegal manufacturing and packaging operation were seized during the raid. Two people were arrested for allegedly packaging counterfeit products on a large scale and selling them in the market using the names of well-known mobile phone brands.



According to the Delhi Police Crime Branch, the operation uncovered one printing press and three godowns connected to the counterfeit business. The locations were allegedly being used for branding, packaging and preparing fake products before supplying them to the market.

Police said the seized machinery was being used to manufacture and package counterfeit items designed to resemble original products of OPPO, OnePlus and Realme.

The search-cum-seizure operation was carried out as part of an ongoing effort to crack down on the circulation of fake electronic products and counterfeit branding material in the market.

Further investigation into the network involved in the manufacture, packaging and distribution of the counterfeit products is underway.
