“Flight operations are currently being conducted under CAT III conditions due to dense fog, which may cause delays. Passengers are requested to contact their respective airlines for the latest flight information or visit our official website. Please be assured that our on-ground officials are available across all terminals to provide necessary Support," Delhi airport said in a tweet at 7 AM.
Visuals shared by news agency ANI from the Akshardham and Dhaulakuan areas showed vehicles crawling at slow speeds, with drivers struggling to see beyond a short distance. In many parts of the city, visibility dropped to less than 50 metres, severely impacting the movement of vehicles on major roads and highways. Officials warned that conditions could deteriorate further as the morning progressed.
Delhi, Noida and Gurugram weather on February 2
The IMD has not issued a cold wave warning for Delhi at present, but cold winds during the morning and night hours may continue to cause discomfort. The impact of snowfall in hill states such as Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh is being felt in Delhi’s winds, and a further drop in minimum temperatures cannot be ruled out over the next 24 hours.Here is the weekly Delhi weather forecast:

From 2 February to 7 February, early morning fog or mist is expected each day in Noida, and no significant weather warnings have been indicated for those days. During this period, the minimum temperatures are forecast to stay mostly around 10 – 11 °C, while the maximum temperatures are expected to gradually rise from about 18 °C up to 23 °C later in the week.
The seven-day forecast shows that in Gurugram February 2 will be partly cloudy with milder conditions. From 3 February to 7 February, the weather is expected to be mainly clear with generally pleasant conditions. Minimum temperatures over the week are forecast to stay around 9–11 °C, and maximum temperatures are expected between 16 °C and 21 °C during the period.
Delhi sees colder February
Delhi saw a colder start to February, compared to last year, with the maximum temperature settling at 24.6 degrees Celsius on Sunday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The maximum temperature on Sunday is lower than last year's 26.2 degrees Celsius, while 2.3 notches above the seasonal average, according to official data.The weather department has predicted moderate fog for Monday, with maximum and minimum temperatures expected to hover around 21 degrees Celsius and 11 degrees Celsius, respectively. This comes after several parts of Delhi NCR received rainfall on Sunday morning, leading to a further dip in temperatures. While the rain intensified the cold, the day later saw brief spells of sunshine amid clouds.
