Delhi-NCR rains: Heavy rains expected to lash national capital and neighbouring regions; Check forecast

New Delhi is witnessing a moderately rainy day on August 29, 2025, with temperatures ranging from 27°C to 32.8°C and an 86% chance of rainfall. Additionally, the neighbouring regions including Noida and Gurugram are also expecting to receive rains today.

The city is expected to receive around 5.56 mm of rain, accompanied by steady winds of 16.6 km/h, 71% humidity, and visibility up to 9 km.

With an average temperature of 29.5°C, the conditions are more suitable for indoor activities. Rain intensity is expected to pick up in the late afternoon, with overcast skies and limited sunshine throughout the day.


"Active monsoon conditions are likely to prevail over Delhi during next 4-5 days. Generally cloudy sky. Possibility of very light to light rain during subsequent 2 days. Possibility of light to moderate rain thereafter," said the weather agency in its daily bulletin.
