Delhi Metro is a popular mode of transportation in the city due to its affordability, accessibility, and ability to quickly transport commuters across various parts of the city. However, the recent news regarding heavily crowded stations and delayed services has raised concerns among the public.

On Thursday morning, services on the Delhi Metro's Yellow Line, which runs between Samaypur Badli in Delhi to HUDA City Centre, experienced delays. In response, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) advised commuters to use the Violet Line until the issue was resolved.

"Commuters traveling between Kashmere Gate and Central Secretariat can also use the Violet Line. All efforts are being made to restore normal services on the impacted portion in Yellow Line," DMRC tweeted.

Various photos and videos from the metro station depicted the overcrowding as people attempted to enter the trains, resulting in humorous memes on social media.
