Delhi Metro’s PA system plays Haryanvi song “2 Numbari,” netizens can't stop laughing
A video of Delhi Metro playing Haryanvi song “2 Numbari” instead of announcement going viral on the internet.

During a recent ride on the Delhi metro, the passengers were left confused when the driver mistakenly played the Haryanvi song '2 Numbari' instead of the usual announcement. Content producer Amandeep Singh brought attention to the incident by posting the video on his Instagram account with the caption, “This is why I love Delhi”, accompanied by a laughing emoji.
The video begins with a fully filled metro, with the majority of riders standing near the entrance doors. Masoom Sharma and Manisha Sharma’s ‘2 Numbari’ can then be heard on the speakers that are generally used to convey important announcements. Most commuters may be seen giggling heartily as they witness the same.
The video shows that the music only played for a few seconds before being shut off, implying that the driver must have realised his error. A user shared the video with the caption, “Driver playing tunes in Delhi Metro”.
The users are amused after witnessing the incident. Some users joked that this is what happens when a Haryana highways driver accepts a job with Delhi Metro. “Kya mtlb driver Haryana ka h”, one user said.
But, other people thought it was a good idea and pushed the authorities to play tunes in between announcements in the Delhi metro. “DMRC se meri desire hai ki metro mein in between songs bhi chalne chahiye”, one person said.
Another amusing occurrence from the Delhi metro surfaced earlier this month. A video showed a girl making a reel in the middle of a crowded metro. The film, which showed the girl dancing without music while her companion videotaped her, split the internet in two.
