According to DMRC, trains will run at 15-minute intervals on all routes between 3 am and 6 am, after which services will continue as per the normal schedule for the rest of the day. The agency also said that parking facilities at all metro stations will remain open on Republic Day for commuters’ convenience.
Meanwhile, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) said security measures will be stepped up at all Namo Bharat stations along the Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut corridor. As part of these arrangements, parking at the New Ashok Nagar and Anand Vihar Namo Bharat stations will remain closed from 2 pm on January 25 until 2 pm on January 26. Passengers have been advised to plan their travel in advance and factor in additional time due to heightened security checks and temporary parking restrictions.
Earlier, DMRC had also announced that there will be no entry or exit at Central Secretariat Metro station (Gates 3 and 4), Udyog Bhawan (Gate 1), Lal Quila (Gates 3 and 4), and Jama Masjid (Gates 3 and 4) from 3 am until the conclusion of the Republic Day celebrations.
Additionally, entry and exit will remain closed at Gates 1, 4 and 5 of Delhi Gate Metro station, while ITO Metro station will have restrictions at Gates 3, 4 and 6 during the same period.
