Delhi man uses AI to create nude photo of a minor girl, harasses her for over 2 years, extorts Rs 1.2 lakh
A 25-year-old man allegedly used an AI-generated nude image to blackmail a Delhi woman who was a minor when the alleged harassment began. Police said he extorted around Rs 1.2 lakh from her over more than two years and later threatened her family....

The case was registered at Mohan Garden police station last week, more than two and a half years after the woman first came in contact with the accused. Police later arrested the man when he came to Delhi for a court hearing.
How the alleged blackmail began
The woman was a minor and living in southwest Delhi when she came across the accused, Ajay Dubey, on social media in December 2023. The two began speaking over the phone, but police said the interaction later turned into an alleged blackmailing campaign.According to her complaint, Dubey allegedly used artificial intelligence to create a nude image of her. He then threatened to share it on social media. The threats and alleged abuse continued from January last year, she told police. When the two met in person in July 2025, he allegedly again used the image to threaten her.
Under pressure, the girl began sending money to him in small amounts. The payments were made from her mother's bank account. The alleged extortion continued until her father noticed the transactions and learned about what his daughter had been going through.
Threats allegedly extended to her family
The situation took another turn in August this year, when the accused allegedly began threatening members of her family over the phone. The woman alleged that Dubey abused her father and uncle and threatened to attack her with acid if she refused to follow his instructions. By then, the woman had become an adult and was pursuing graduation at a reputed college. Her father is a businessman. She eventually approached the police and submitted a written complaint detailing the alleged threats, payments and harassment.
