As users on food-ordering platforms like Zomato and Swiggy continue to increase, coupled with the festive season, orders have been delayed fairly regularly.

One Delhi man took hilarious advantage of a delayed order, greeting his Zomata delivery executive with an aarti.

In a video posted on Instagram, the delivery agent is seen arriving with the order, following which the customer - who has been waiting for an hour to cherish his favourite food - welcomes him with an "aarti ki thali".

Once the delivery executive reaches the doorstep, the man starts singing Kumar Sanu’s Aayiye Aapka Intezaar Tha song from the movie, Vijaypath. He then puts a tikka on the delivery boy’s forehead before receiving the food.

“Getting your order despite “Dilli ka traffic”. Thank you Zomato,” read the caption of the post.

Users have commended the delivery executive for taking the joke sportingly, with some saying "he passed the vibe check."

One of the users called the video “crazy” and wrote, “How generously that guy waits to be warmly welcome and the way he pulls up his helmet so that the receiver can do the tilak ..crazy.”
