Delhi hit-and-drag case: 2 die after car hits two wheeler, drags driver on bonnet for 350 metres
Another hit-and-drag incident occurred in Delhi after a car struck a two-wheeler and dragged the rider on its roof for nearly 350 metres. Two people died in the incident, and five suspects have been taken into custody.

The event happened on Thursday night in the national capital's Keshav Puram neighbourhood. The pillion rider passed away instantly, and another rider was severely hurt in the collision. Now, latest reports state that another rider also succumbed to his injuries on Saturday morning.
Usha Rangnani, DCP North West, revealed that a PCR van observed a car hit a scooter, causing the rider on the pillion to fall to the ground and have their head trapped between the windshield and the bonnet, on January 26 while patrolling between Prerna Chowk and Kanhaiya Nagar late at night.
Rangani claimed that the five passengers of the car did not stop and dragged the scooter and its rider for 300 to 350 metres before being pursued by a PCR van. Later, the PCR van apprehended two of the suspects while the other three escaped the scene. Later, three others were also arrested.
She disclosed that the accused seemed to be drunk and that the inquiry is ongoing. The event was captured on CCTV, which has now appeared online.
Keshav Puram Police Station has filed an FIR in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
