Delhi-Gurugram expressway to be closed for construction of flyover and underpasses
A section of Delhi-Gurugram expressway will be closed for three months to construct a flyover and two underpasses connecting the Dwarka expressway to NH-48, with completion scheduled for June 2023.

The Dwarka expressway is a 29-kilometre route being built from the Shiv Murti in Delhi to the Kherki Daula area in Gurugram. The NHAI will construct slip roads next to the carriageway to divert vehicles from the highway. The construction work will be completed within 90 days, as per NHAI officials.
The expressway has seen a rise in new residential estates in modern Gurugram, with areas 83rd and 84th, and 99-113 as residential areas, and area codes 105, 106, 109, 110, 110A, 111, 112, and 113 designated as commercial. The project was handed over to NHAI in 2016.
SS Yadav, special commissioner of police, informed that traffic at NH-48 near Shiv Murti intersection will be diverted from the main highway to newly constructed slip roads. The expressway is a significant road project aimed at decongesting the roads in Delhi and Gurugram, and its completion will facilitate better connectivity and smoother traffic flow.
