Delhi Govt will now accept Aadhaar for these 8 online services
The services include conversion to freehold, online payment of dues, refund requests, the permission of mortgage, application for possession, change of constitution, and extension for time for construction.

The city govt's industries department has been authorised by the UIDAI to accept Aadhaar for these services.
The services include conversion to freehold, online payment of dues, refund requests, the permission of mortgage, application for possession, change of constitution, and extension for time for construction.
Applicants of these services will share their Aadhaar details upon their consent. In other words, people will be asked for their consent for their Aadhaar details. There will be no denial of any service or benefit to the applicant.
The Aadhaar number will never be displayed anywhere and it will be stored securely in the Aadhaar data vault, said a notification of the department issued last week.
The purposes and related information and the manner for which Aadhaar is sought will be communicated clearly to the applicants, said the notification.
UIDAI had earlier notified that those who don't have an Aadhaar number or enrolment slip, may not be able to avail of government subsidies and benefits.
UIDAI is a statutory authority assigned with the issuing of a 12-digit Aadhaar to all residents of India.
