Earlier, the process faced delays due to technical issues, lack of layout plans, and complications in obtaining ownership documents. The new SOP and digital integration aim to eliminate these hurdles. With over 40,000 conveyance deeds already issued in the past, the new system is expected to bring the remaining lakhs of properties into the legal framework, marking a major shift in Delhi’s urban housing landscape.
This regularisation drive is one of the biggest in Delhi’s history. By digitising the process and linking portals, the government aims to make property registration faster, simpler, and more transparent.
For lakhs of residents, this isn’t just paperwork, it’s long-awaited legal recognition.
