Many people on internet drew such parallels to the recent heavy delays seen at Terminal 3 of the Delhi International Airport, with some passengers reportedly missing their flight even after arriving at the clearance area ahead of time.

The complaints about congestion and excessive wait times at Delhi airport's T3 turned into memes on social media. Things were especially bad over the weekend, with Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and senior officials arriving to assess the situation following a stream of protests by passengers.


One user likened the security lines at Delhi International Airport to those seen at ration shops in the 1970s. Or at the Mohun Bagan vs. East Bengal match ticket booths. The East Bengal vs. Mohun Bagan rivalry is a crowd-puller in West Bengal.
