Delay in iPhone 14. What could be the reason?
iPhone 14 is supposed to be released in September 2022. But will it happen? Read to find out.

If reports are to be believed, Apple has already talked to speed up the process of development. Suppliers have been told to make up for the lost time due to lockdown. Sources also say that if the manufacturing delay remains persistent, it may also have an effect on the next iPhone model’s early sales or production number, in the worst possible case.
How will it affect customers?
The only way to release the new iPhone 14 on time is if the manufacturers pull their socks up and produce sufficient devices. Sensing the situation, it is doubtful for the suppliers to do so. So, the event launch might get postponed to October or November instead of September.
What is causing the delay?
The delay is caused due to slow manufacturing. But what has made the production slow? As per the reports of 91 Mobiles, the primary engineering verification test has been lagging down, hence causing the delay. The engineering verification test is performed just before the production after the required parts and processes of building an iPhone have been completed. If the release event is not to be postponed, the suppliers and the producers should finish the test of engineering verification latest by June end.
Due to the same problems, iPhone Max 13 is also said to get delayed by at least three weeks.
Has Apple officially announced this?
No. The company has not given any statement on the delay in products. But the sources strongly suggest that the delay is likely to happen. Sources also indicate that there might not be any launch event separately for the iPhone 14 Max, and Apple might not cancel the formal announcement event. The announcement event takes place annually in September.
Another thing to get noticed here is that the famous tipster Jon Prosser and Ian Zeibo have shared the renders, not a while ago, of the iPhone 14 Pro.
At first glance, the renders appear beautiful. The renders show the iPhone 14 in rich and varied colours, making it eye-pleasing. The model has also confirmed that a pill-shaped notch is present on the front panel. The power button hasn’t seen any changes. It is still present on the right board of the device, which is the same as in the current model.
