Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh reveal second daughter’s name, Devi, share adorable family picture

Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have revealed the name of their younger daughter, Devi, marking the occasion with a family photograph shared on Dussehra. The announcement introduces their second child to fans, nearly a month after the couple welcomed their baby girl in September.

The picture captures a tender moment between the siblings, with Ranveer holding their elder daughter, Dua, as she leans in to kiss her newborn sister. Deepika is also part of the family portrait, which offers a glimpse of the couple’s life as parents of two daughters.

Alongside the photograph, Deepika shared the name of their younger daughter in the caption, writing, “Of Love & Abundance Devi Padukone Singh.”

The couple announced the arrival of their second daughter on September 19 through a joint social media post. Keeping the message brief, they wrote, “Welcome baby girl,” accompanied by an evil eye emoji. The announcement came after Deepika and Ranveer confirmed in April that they were expecting their second child.

The latest reveal also brings attention to the couple’s journey into parenthood. Their first daughter, Dua, was born on September 8, 2024, and the actors announced her arrival with the same heartfelt message, “Welcome baby girl.” With the name of their younger daughter now public, the couple have shared another milestone with their fans.

Deepika and Ranveer’s relationship began while they were working together on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in 2013. After dating for several years, they married on November 14, 2018, in Lake Como, Italy. Their wedding celebrations included separate Konkani and Sindhi ceremonies, reflecting their respective family traditions.
