The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is set to open registrations for its Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana 2025 from Thursday, offering a major opportunity for residents to secure affordable housing in the national capital.

Flats for EWS and Janta categories

Under this initiative, DDA is providing a total of 1,172 flats for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Janta category in various parts of Outer Delhi. The flats will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, making early registration crucial.

The flats are available at seven locations: Narela, Loknayakpuram, Rohini, Todapur, Dwarka sectors 14 and 19-B, and Manglapuri. Applicants for EWS flats must have a family income of up to Rs 10 lakh per annum, while Janta category flats do not have an income limit.

Location-wise details

Narela leads with 672 EWS flats, priced between Rs 9.18 lakh and Rs 27.86 lakh, with plinth areas ranging from 34.76 sqm to 61.99 sqm. Rohini offers 97 Janta flats starting from Rs 14.59 lakh, with plinth areas between 28 sqm and 28.81 sqm. Other locations feature a mix of EWS and Janta flats, catering to a wide range of families.

Registration and booking process

The one-time registration fee for DDA’s Aawas Portal is Rs 2,500, though applicants already registered on the portal are exempt. Each flat carries a booking amount of Rs 50,000, and there is no restriction on the number of flats an applicant can book.

Registration opens on 11 September, while the booking window will begin from 22 September. Interested applicants are encouraged to complete registration early to secure their chance at these affordable homes.
