A touching video of a daughter remarrying her mother, who is 50 years old, has surfaced online. Deb Arti Ria Chakravorty from Shillong posted an adorable behind-the-scenes video of her mother's wedding ceremony on Instagram.

Deb Arti Chakravorty, from Shillong, Meghalaya, is remarrying her 50-year-old mother, Moushumi Chakravorty. In March of this year, Moushmi married Swapan, a West Bengal resident. Deb Arti Ria was two years old when her father died suddenly of a brain haemorrhage. Moushumi was only 25 years old and worked as a teacher at the time. She then moved in with her mother.

Deb Arti is now a freelancing talent manager in Mumbai. She discussed her feelings about remarrying her 50-year-old mother with AajTak. When the daughter discussed remarriage with her mother, she refused, saying, "What will happen to you if I get married?"


It took a long time for Arti to persuade her mother to agree to her remarriage. She asked her mother if they could start as friends and then become life partners. "I initially asked her to chat with him as friends," she continued. Following that, I told her, "You've become friends, and you can also be life partners." Swapan is 50 years old, this was his first marriage.

Deb posted a video on Instagram in June commemorating her mother's three-month wedding anniversary. It was a compilation of short clips and photos showing glimpses of Moushami's special day.
