CUET Result 2022: NTA likely to declare result on 10 September, PG result by 25

NTA is all set to release the result of the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) for both UG and PG in September 2022. The results will be released in online mode.

As per reports, UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said, “The result should typically be declared within 10 days of the last test date.”

NTA is expected to announce Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) UG and PG result by 10th and 25th September respectively.


The result of CUET 2022 is to be released online in the form of a scorecard. Candidates can download their scorecards from the official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in.

The CUET 2022 commenced on 15th July and is being held in six phases. The 6th and final phase is still underway and will conclude on 30th August 2022. Originally, CUET was divided into two phases. But, technical glitches during the second phase (held from August 4 to August 6) led to the postponement and cancellation of papers. The exam is now divided into 6 phases and will end on 30 August, as opposed to 20 August. The exam is being conducted at 489 exam centres located in 259 cities across India and 10 cities outside India. Nearly 15 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the CUET exam.

Earlier, NTA had confirmed the CUET UG result will be out by 7 September. The NTA official had said, The number of subject papers is huge for CUET-UG. We will try to finish the evaluation and announce the results by September 7. We are considering September 10 as our outer limit.”

CUET Exam 2022 Delay in Exams
As stated above the exam was scheduled to be held in 2 phases but the papers were either postponed or cancelled due to several technical glitches.

Now, it is divided into 6 phases and the sixth and final phase will end on 30 August.

The CUET PG exam will be conducted between 1 and 11 September. The exams will be conducted in two shifts – the morning shift will be held from 10 am to 12 pm while the afternoon shift will be between 3 pm and 5 pm.

A senior NTA official informed the CUET PG 2022 city intimation slip will be released on August 26 while the admit card is expected on August 28 or 29.

Registration Statistics
According to government data, a total of 14.9 lakh students registered for the CUET-UG this year. Of these, a total of 2.49 lakh students appeared for CUET-UG in the first phase, 1.91 lakh took the test in the second phase (4th to 6th August) and 1.91 lakh in the third phase on 7th, 8th and 10th August. For the fourth phase, 3.72 lakh candidates had registered.
