CUET PG Result 2026 out: Check direct link, how to download scorecard, merit list and more

The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the Common University Entrance Test Post Graduate 2026 results on April 24, 2026.

Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website — NTA Exams Portal — using their application number and password.

The results have been compiled based on the final answer key, after taking into account the objections raised by candidates. The answer key challenge window was open until April 14, 2026.

Result format and details
The CUET PG 2026 result is available as a scorecard, which includes key details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, subjects appeared for, marks obtained, percentile or score, and qualifying status.

Admissions through CUET PG scores

A total of 198 universities will offer admissions based on CUET PG 2026 scores. These include central, state, government, private, and deemed universities. Each institution will follow its own eligibility criteria and admission process.

CUET PG merit list 2026 and cut off marks

The National Testing Agency will publish the CUET PG 2026 merit list in the form of a common list that includes candidates’ names and marks. The toppers for each subject will be identified from this list based on their scores.


The agency will also release subject-wise cutoff marks separately for all categories. The CUET PG 2026 cutoff will be made available online in the public domain.

Important instructions for candidates

Candidates are advised to review the eligibility criteria of the universities they are applying to before submitting applications. Universities will conduct their own counselling processes based on the CUET PG 2026 scorecard.

There is no age limit for appearing in the CUET PG 2026 exam, although candidates must check if individual universities have specific age-related requirements.

Marking scheme

According to the marking scheme, four marks are awarded for each correct answer, while one mark is deducted for every incorrect response. No marks are deducted for unanswered questions.

Exam timeline

The CUET PG 2026 registration process began on December 14, 2025 and concluded on January 14, 2026. The examination was conducted between March 6 and March 27, 2026 at centres across the country.
