Delhi University has approved the new admission process for students taking admission in undergraduate courses based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores. The university has decided that the admission to all the colleges will be made through a central portal as per the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) rules.

Admission process:
The admission in Delhi University colleges will be conducted in three phases
1. Submission of CSAS 2022 common application form

2. Selection of programmes and preferences
The second phase of the admission process will start after the declaration of CUET(UG) 2022 results.A candidate will have to select programmes in which they would like to take admission. They will have to confirm programme-specific CUET (UG) merit scores for all selected programmes.


3. Seat allocation and admission.
In the third phase, seats will be allocated through a merit list.

Application Fee:
Students will have to make a one-time non-refundable payment towards the CSAS-2022 application fee. Candidates applying under the extracurricular activity (ECA) and/or the sports supernumerary quota will have to pay an additional fee.

In case of equal score in merit list:
If two or more candidates have the same CUET merit score, the candidate with a higher percentage of aggregate marks (for the three subjects of Class 12) will be given preference. If the score is still tied, the older candidate will be given preference.

Sports Quota/ ECS admission:
50 per cent weightage will be given to the CUET score and the rest to a performance-based test.

Withdrawal process:
A person who wishes to withdraw their admission will be charged Rs 1,000.

There will be no option to withdraw candidature once the spot admission round is announced.
