The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to release the provisional answer keys for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 shortly. The national-level examination, conducted earlier this month in multiple shifts, assessed candidates for Paper I (Classes I–V) and Paper II (Classes VI–VIII) at centres across India.

Once available, the CTET 2026 answer keys will be accessible on the official websites: ctet.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. Alongside the provisional answer keys, candidates’ response sheets are expected to be uploaded, allowing examinees to estimate their probable scores before the official results are declared.

How to Check CTET 2026 Answer Keys

Candidates can follow these steps to access the provisional answer keys:

  • Visit the official CTET website.
  • Click on the “CTET 2026 Answer Key Challenge” link.
  • Log in using the application number and date of birth or password.
  • View the answer key and download the response sheet.
  • Select any question(s) they wish to challenge and upload supporting documents in the prescribed format.
  • Pay the required challenge fee and submit the objection.

CTET 2026: Raising Objections and Challenge Fee

CBSE provides candidates with a window to raise objections against the provisional answer key. Candidates must submit their challenges online within the stipulated period, usually a few days from the date of release.

A non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 per question applies, payable through debit card, credit card, or net banking. Objections submitted without the prescribed fee will not be considered.

Once submitted, objections are reviewed by subject experts. If a challenge is found valid, the provisional answer key is revised, and the final answer key is published. The official CTET results are prepared based on the final answer key.

Candidates are advised to keep checking the official CTET portals for updates to ensure they do not miss the objection window.
