A coolie named Dashrath Daund has been praised for finding an expensive phone, belonging to Amitabh Bachchan's makeup artist Deepak Sawant, left behind at Dadar station while working, and immediately turning it over to the Government Railway Police.

But more moving is that he avoided being persuaded to keep it on him even temporarily, despite his dire financial circumstances. According to reports, Dashrath Daund earns a modest income of Rs 300 a day working at Dadar station for nearly 30 years.
Without any hesitation, coolie Dashrath Daund swiftly handed over the high-end phone to the Government Railway Police (GRP) chowky. The coolie said that he was not tech-savvy and that he never carried anyone else's possessions around with him.
Immediately after giving the police the phone, Daund went to sleep. Soon, he received a call from the police, informing him that they had located the real owner of the phone.
Police discovered that Deepak Sawant, Amitabh Bachchan's go-to makeup artist, is the real owner of the handset, which was valued at Rs 1.4 lakh. Reportedly, Sawant has been working with Amitabh Bachchan for more than 50 years.
To appreciate his honesty, the Sawant family rewarded Daund with a financial award of Rs 1,000. Since then, Dashrath Daund’s story of honesty has gone viral, and right now, many people are praising him.
